Galvano

The Galvano crown electroforming technique has firmly established itself in the field of prosthetic dentistry. It is the most tried and tested, safest and most economical procedure for manufacturing dental prosthetics from pure gold. This technique has been in successful clinical use since 1986.This unique scientific breakthrough enables you to deliver natural, long-lasting crowns and bridges that are healthier for surrounding gingiva than natural dentition.

    Advantages/Benefits
  • 71% less plaque accumulation of natural dentition, reducing periodontal disease
  • Warm golden hue for enhanced esthetics
  • High-noble alloy at flat-rated pricing

    Taking Impressions
  • Impression should give an accurate reproduction of the exact preparation margin and an area apical to the preparation margin.

    Indications
  • Single crowns

    Cementation
  • It is not recommended to carry out a temporary cementation. The established zinc phosphate cements are best suited for permanent cementation. However, modern glass ionomer cements as well as composite cements can also be used.

PFM

Porcelain fused to metal restoration is still the most prescribed restoratives to date. Offering several different types of metals with which to fabricate the substructure InterDental Lab. readily provides clinicians with a wide variety of PFM crowns and bridge solutions.

Porcelain margins are recommended to dramatically improve the aesthetics result by enabling natural light to penetrate at the gingival margins. The definitive polychromatic shade variance in our PFM crowns and bridges is a result of the internal modifiers utilized in the build-up phase of the procedure. The definitive restorations appear so natural; they rival some of the most innovative restorative options available.

    Advantages/Benefits
  • Longevity
  • Durable and long-lasting
  • Natural-looking characteristics

Gold Crown

Gold and dentistry have gone hand in hand for centuries. It was used as a restorative material; and gold is still a preferred material for many people today. The reason? Itís durable, kind to opposing teeth and biocompatible. Used for inlays, onlays, full cast crowns and porcelain-to-metal restorations; gold is a standard by which many other restorative materials are compared. Gold has a long-standing history as one of the most favored dental materials. Its high biocompatibility, strength, and natural beauty make it a common choice among dental practitioners.

    Advantages/Benefits
  • High biocompatibility
  • Plaque resistance
  • Longevity

    Indications
  • Full-coverage crown and bridge restorations
  • Inlay/Onlays

    Cementation
  • Traditional cementation

Zirconia

Zirconia is the best material available for bridges and for creating a strong translucent tooth that rivals all-porcelain crowns. Zirconia substrates can be milled with a laser-milling machine, the substrates tend to fit better and are less labor-intensive than either a metal-procelain or all-porcelain solution, providing a superior product with a quicker turn-around at a lower cost.

Zirconia (Zirconium Oxide) is a white powdered metal used to create dental frameworks for crowns, bridges and other dental substructures. It replaces gold or stainless steel used in the past, creates the appearance of a whiter more translucent tooth, and is transparent in x-rays. Zirconia has been in use in cosmetic dentistry for many years to achieve the most aesthetic result possible, but has more recently become widely accepted as the dental material of choice.

    Advantages/Benefits
  • 100% meta-free in biocompatible zirconium oxide full ceramic
  • Multiple core shades
  • Both conventional cementation and bonding
  • Biocompatible

    Indications
  • Zirconia bridges (up to 16 units)
  • Zirconia single crowns
  • Zirconia implant abutments

    Cementation
  • Traditional cementation

As demand for better increases, these innovative, formulated all-ceramic restorations are a vital part of everyday dentistry to accommodate dental professionals, as well as their patients high expectations and need. Bondable all-ceramic restorations are the ultimate in metal-free esthetic.

    Advantages/Benefits
  • True-to-nature esthetics

  • Optimized color and clarity

    Indications
  • Veneers
  • Inlays/Onlays
  • Full-coverage single crowns

    Cementation
  • Traditional cementation

Shade Selection

The shade is determined on the cleaned, unprepared, or adjacent tooth with the help of the Chromascope or Vita (classic) shade guides. To maximize esthetics with Empress it is important to also select the prepped tooth color.
